Doit Architetti Associati was founded in 2001 and is based in Rome. The present founder partners Riccardo Gaggi, Cristina Gagliardi and Mariella Tesse carry on a research related to the analysis of social environment and life-styles as a data-base for outlining the functional program of their buildings. The practice works on cultural, residential, commercial projects providing full architectural services both for public and private clients. The studio portfolio includes civic buildings, urban design, parking and office facilities, housing, retail and interior design. Cultural Centers and Educational Buildings constitute the focus of the studio professional experience shaping the cultural activity in a mixed-use format. Research on contemporary languages is a central part of the creative process fostering a working method based on the gradual simplification of complex systems. Simplicity is a solved complexity. The studio follows with particular interest the development of innovative technologies applied to the building process and the potentialities of new construction materials. Doit Architetti Associati has been awarded in several national and international competition.
